Lightning beat Sabres, take over Southeast lead
Call it the Southleast, call the eventual winner a playoff upset waiting to happen, call it anything you want. Either Washington or Tampa Bay is going to be the Southeast Division champ in three weeks. The Lightning beat the Sabres 4-2 on Friday, while the Kings downed the Caps 3-1, allowing Tampa Bay to overtake Washington for the division lead.
